The short version
Zabu Finance is an informational website. You can read everything here without an account, and we collect almost nothing about you. No ad trackers, no data sales, one privacy-respecting analytics tool. That's the whole story; the details follow.
Analytics
We use Matomo, an analytics tool we operate ourselves, to count visits and see which guides people actually find useful. It records the pages you view, the rough region you're visiting from, your browser type, and how you found the site. IP addresses are shortened before storage, so the data doesn't identify you personally. Analytics data stays on our systems. It is never shared with advertisers, brokers, or anyone else.
Cookies
Matomo may set a first-party cookie so that repeat visits aren't counted as new people. We set no advertising cookies and load no third-party tracking scripts. If you block cookies in your browser, every page on this site still works exactly the same.
The contact form
If you write to us, we receive the name, email address, and message you type. We use them to reply, and for nothing else. We don't add you to mailing lists, and we don't share your message unless you ask us to publish it — for example, as a credited correction.
What we never do
- Sell, rent, or trade your data. To anyone. Ever.
- Run ad networks or embed their trackers.
- Ask you to connect a crypto wallet. This site has no app; any page claiming otherwise is not us.
Retention and your rights
Aggregated analytics are kept so we can see long-term reading trends. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted in periodic cleanups. You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, through the contact page. We'll do it, and we won't make it weird.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, this page changes first, along with its date. This version was published on July 28, 2026. Questions about any of it are welcome through the contact form.
